The Elemental Journal
As I read through this book, I was impressed with the amount of time and effort that went into creating each of these unique, hand-crafted journals. They were very inspirational, and yet, as I read through the directions of how to duplicate one of these, I could tell they were incredibly labor-intensive and many of them used materials that would not be quite so easily “found,” or certainly not found in my own garbage can or recycle bin — from different metal scraps to birdcages to antique knobs. Still, the concept was incredibly neat, and I liked the thought behind it. This is definitely an inspirational book for a crafty person who is looking for new uses for their leftover materials.
