Project Fairy Tale:

Project Fairy Tale
The time has finally come for Project Fairy Tale!

This special blogging event includes myself and 35 other bloggers who will be reading stories related to famous fairy tales.  As for me, I’ll be covering the tale of Bluebeard.

Tomorrow, February 2, will feature a special Weekend Ramblings in which I’ll post a full version of this tale on my blog.  In the following weeks, Fairy Tale Friday will feature a review of a different novel that is based on, inspired by, or otherwise relates to the tale of Bluebeard, including the books pictured below (and perhaps some bonus ones throughout the week).

The Bluebeard Room (Nancy Drew, #77) Jane Eyre Strands of Bronze and Gold

For the month of February, I’ll also be using my Saturday’s Weekend Rambling posts to feature another one of the 35 bloggers involved in Project Fairy Tale and sharing some of their recommendations for books based on classic fairy tales.

If you are a participant in Project Fairy Tale or you’d like to try something similar, keep your eye out for a new project coming in autumn 2013 which will feature modern retellings and reimaginings of other classic stories!  More info coming soon!
